VIRTUAL LAB – A new era in technology

A one day workshop on Virtual Labs was organized by the Physics department of St. Pious X Degree & PG college, Nacharam on June 30th 2016.
The guest of honour was Shri. B. Krishnarajulu Naidu, retired faculty from Osmania University, enlightened the students about this new technology which is a stimulation of a real laboratory intended to support the Inquiry Based Science Education (IBSL) in scientific learning
The students were trained about the benefits of Virtual Labs in teaching and learning science. The experiments performed in the laboratory are now been installed in the computers by the software named “Virtual Lab” which makes learning more interesting.
